Manager Operation Digitalization

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Manager Operation Digitalization to join our BA SSL central team of Manufacturing Process & Equipment Engineering in Changzhou, China. In this pivotal role, you will develop and lead our organization's digital transformation initiatives, driving operational excellence through innovative technologies and data-driven strategies.

• Develop and implement BA specific digital transformation strategies and roadmaps to optimize manufacturing operations and supply chain processes
• Main contact person for the respective project teams
• Analyze complex operational data to identify improvement opportunities
• Oversee the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, AI, and machine learning, into existing operational processes
• Collaborate with BA operations team, CT Group Sector and local teams to ensure seamless implementation of digital solutions
• Plan, coordinate, support and foster local digital realization projects
• Drive change management initiatives to facilitate smooth adoption of new digital processes and tools
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digitalization efforts and report on progress to senior leadership
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain the organization's competitive edge in the digital landscape
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automation, Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in Operations, Production, Automation or Engineering, with at least 2 years focused on digital or automation projects
• Strong knowledge of digital transformation strategies, Industry 4.0 concepts and their application in manufacturing environments
• Proven track record in successfully implementing digitalization initiatives
• Expertise in data analysis, visualization, and using business intelligence tools to drive operational improvements
• Proficiency in project management and change management techniques
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SAP, MSB, MDA/PDA
• Experience with other digital tools and platforms like Grafana, InfluxDB, Nodered beneficial
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese highly desirable
• Willingness to travel globally as required
