Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product/Project Management Consultant to join our team. As a consultant in this role, you will work closely with our clients to provide expert guidance and support in product and project management. You will leverage your extensive knowledge and experience to help clients streamline their processes, optimize their workflows, and achieve their business objectives efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Consultation and Analysis: Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, product visions, and project requirements. Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive product and project management strategies aligned with clients' business objectives. Provide strategic guidance on product roadmap development, project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Process Optimization: Recommend and implement best practices in product and project management to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. Streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization to drive better outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients. Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and alignment to ensure successful project delivery.
- Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of product and project initiatives. Monitor progress, track performance, and identify areas for improvement. Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
- Change Management: Support clients in navigating organizational change and transformation initiatives related to product and project management. Provide guidance on change management strategies, stakeholder engagement, and communication planning to minimize resistance and maximize adoption.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to build clients' capabilities in product and project management. Equip teams with the skills, tools, and methodologies necessary to succeed in their roles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, engineering, or related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum, Six Sigma) preferred.
- Proven experience (3 years) in product management, project management, or management consulting roles, with a focus on delivering successful product and project outcomes.
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and best practices in product/project planning, execution, and delivery.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to analyze complex issues, synthesize information, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated track record of driving process improvements, optimizing workflows, and delivering measurable business results.
- Proficiency in project management tools/software (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack).
- Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed.
Infinitive is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $95,000 - $124,00.00.
