Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable network infrastructure components.
- Build high-performance backend services using C/C++, Go, and/or Rust.
- Develop networking features that support secure remote connectivity and Zero Trust architecture.
- Optimize system performance, latency, throughput, and reliability across distributed environments.
- Work closely with Infrastructure, Platform, DevOps, and SRE teams to improve deployment and observability.
- Design resilient distributed systems capable of operating at enterprise scale.
- Troubleshoot complex networking, distributed systems, and production performance issues.
- Improve system reliability through automation, monitoring, testing, and infrastructure improvements.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to long-term technical strategy.
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance.
- Continuously improve software quality through testing, automation, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong programming expertise in C/C++.
- Professional experience with Go and/or Rust.
- Deep understanding of network infrastructure, TCP/IP, routing, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and load balancing.
- Experience building highly available distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems programming and networking internals.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure and modern deployment environments.
Preferred
- Experience building networking or security products.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture or secure access technologies.
- Experience with VPNs, proxies, gateways, reverse proxies, or network tunneling technologies.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, service discovery, and high-performance networking.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
