Our client is an experience-driven payments platform for growing businesses. The team is dedicated to building seamless and secure payment solutions that enhance the customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the product strategy to align with the company's objectives and product delivery goals.
• Develop a strong technical understanding of our clients' products, features, and services, how they are built, how they function, and how they solve customer problems.
• Gain deep insights into both shopper and merchant needs using qualitative and quantitative data to identify product gaps and generate innovative ideas.
• Gather, analyze, and share user feedback to understand customer pain points and refine product solutions.
• Translate product ideas into user stories, prototypes, and clear requirements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination for product launches.
• Work with design and engineering teams to efficiently deliver high-quality products and features on time.
• Act as a hands-on, supportive team member in addressing any issues that arise during product launches.
• Assess and align plans from other teams to ensure consistency with the overall product strategy.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on evolving business needs and customer feedback.
• Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of development.
• Maintain product roadmaps and release schedules.
• Oversee and define the backlog of improvements and defects, setting clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria to guide development.
• Track sprint progress and address any production issues that arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Product Owner or Product Management role.
• Strong understanding of technological development.
• Knowledge of best practices in product development, particularly in early-stage startups.
• Strong market research skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing business needs.
• Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.
• Proficiency in English.

• Experience working in an early-stage startup or leading a startup-like project within a larger company.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with business and design knowledge.
• Experience in building and managing teams.
