About the Job
The Corporate Deposit Product Manager is responsible for the strategic development, management, and growth of the Bank's corporate deposit product suite across all customer segments within Global Wholesale Banking division.
This role will drive pricing management, portfolio optimization, and deposit strategy to support the Bank's funding and liquidity objectives. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver competitive and customer-centric deposit solutions (including digitalization and process enhancement), while ensuring regulatory compliance and sound risk management.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the Bank’s corporate deposit portfolio including Current Account and Time Deposit products.
- Monitor deposit spreads, funding costs, balance trends, and profitability metrics to support portfolio optimization.
- Review and actively manage deposit pricing, product profitability, and portfolio performance to balance business growth and funding objectives.
- Partner with Relationship Managers and Sales teams to drive deposit growth.
- Lead and support strategic initiatives to enhance corporate deposit capabilities through digital channels and platform improvements.
- Collaborate with Business Units and Operations to drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and risk controls.
- Monitor market developments, industry trends, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and market practices impacting corporate deposit products.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in transaction banking, cash management, corporate deposits, product management, or related banking functions.
- Strong understanding of corporate deposit products, balance sheet management, and deposit pricing principles.
- Knowledge of Singapore banking regulations and regulatory requirements relating to deposit products will be an advantage.
- Experience managing product development, enhancement, or transformation projects within the banking industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial acumen with the ability to interpret business performance and market trends.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
