Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues proactively

Implement network security policies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls

Configure and manage routers, switches, load balancers, and network appliances

Perform network capacity planning, upgrades, and optimization

Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions

Collaborate with cloud, security, and system teams for infrastructure integration

Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs

Support incident response and root cause analysis (RCA)

Automate network tasks using scripting tools (Python, Bash, etc.)

Required

Experience

7-10+ Years

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, SNMP

Hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)

Experience with VLANs, subnetting, NAT, and QoS

Knowledge of firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet)

Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark)

Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)

Understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
