Our client is seeking a skilled Fullstack JavaScript Engineer with strong, hands-on GraphQL experience to join their growing team. You will play a key role in designing and developing GraphQL APIs while building scalable frontend applications with React, TypeScript, and Node.js. Your work will directly impact the scalability, performance, and delivery of premium digital fitness products used by global brands and communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain GraphQL APIs and backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, with a strong focus on API architecture, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop and integrate GraphQL schemas, queries, mutations, resolvers, and data models to support product requirements and frontend applications.
• Build and maintain scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript, consuming GraphQL APIs effectively.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack features from concept through production release.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
• Take ownership of features, releases, and production deployments in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
• Use AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and similar technologies to improve development productivity, testing, debugging, and documentation.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with GraphQL in production environments; this is the most important requirement for the role.
• Solid understanding of GraphQL architecture, including schemas, queries, mutations, resolvers, and API design.
• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript for backend/API development.
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript for frontend development.
• Experience designing, building, integrating, and consuming GraphQL APIs in full-stack applications.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and how they integrate with GraphQL-based applications.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed product and engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GraphQL performance optimization, schema design, and API scalability.
• Experience with GraphQL tooling and ecosystem technologies.
• Knowledge of Prisma ORM.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest.
• Experience building and maintaining component libraries using Storybook.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application environments.
• Previous experience working on SaaS, fitness, health-tech, or consumer-facing platforms.
• Experience working in distributed remote teams.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar technologies.
