ABOUT POSITION

EE integration

organize EE system integration both mechanical wise and mechatronic wise for prototype vehicle and series projects, e.g. but not limited as ADAS ECUs, Telematics.

Cyber Security

organize cyber security relevant product development together suppliers and global BTVs, ensure fulfilment of regulation and company standard.

  • Plan, create new concepts (Scan & evaluate supplier landscape), design, coordinate, facilitate activities along the CVDS to establish, sustain and execute the specific SW and EE related functions, features and activities, especially ADAS and Telematics.
  • Address and Coordinate the specific changes & development's needs (if applicable) with the Features, Component and Systems Responsible in China, Germany, India and Turkey. Check the specific changes in the Vehicles EE Architecture needed for integration, create the changes request, aligned it with all interfaces to get it official approved.
  • Evaluate and compare different solutions / integrations on component but also on a whole system / vehicle level together with global R&D colleagues and local backend. Drive Hardware and Software changes and Integrations on different components and systems as well as support SW release, implementations, testing and bug fixing.
  • Support buildup of prototypes, homologation preparation and tests as well as try-outs and production ramp up.
  • Leading RD mechatronic activities for carlines and variants. Coordination and Integration of design and testing activities from Start until SOP (functional run). Alignment of Content and systems with related departments in China, Germany, Turkey and India. Planning, establishing and supervising of Milestones, Costs, development tasks and needed resources and support. If needed implement corrections and define new targets, Spec book Content and Project descriptions. Elaborate and prepare decision papers and documents and report to project and function lead.

  • TARA/Cyber security and Software Update Management relevant specifications
  • Cyber Security and Software Update management development to ensure compliance of regulation and company norms
  • Cyber security and SUMS relevant component/Vehicle Test, especially to validate the fulfillment of Chinese regulation.
  • Documentation of relevant products and process
  • Support for homologation
  • Support for Cyber security and SUMS audit
  • In alignment with local regulations, subsidies, local filings as well with the JV understand and clarify regulation and homologation relevant topics to assure a smooth market entry for new products.
  • Establish, lead and follow up projects with 3rd party and supplier for new research and design topics. Validate requirements and establish middle- and long-term strategies to reach targeted goals.
  • Evaluating and selection of related supplier as well as support at contractual agreements at working models with external partners.
  • Other tasks which are assigned by organization and supervisor.

Basic Knowledge

  • Planning, specifying, defining Spec book content
  • Preparation, testing and evaluation of test results
  • Good knowledge about TARA and cyber security safety mechanism and measures
  • Understanding of general EE system requirements (environmental, durability, EMC, power net…)
  • Strong ability to understand, integrate and adopt regulation and standards to concepts

Specific knowledge

  • Bachelor / Master mechanical. Electrical study
  • Mechatronic know how and min. 5 years of experience in automotive industry focusing on EE / SW integration
  • Min. 3 years of experience about automotive Cyber Security topics
  • Experience on EE system / cyber security homologation for heavy duty truck in China
  • Know how in analyzing, network tools (CAN trace, connectivity data) and data post processing tools
  • Ability to work in an international team, self-reliant, reliable, self-confident
  • Professional English
